Lia Melia is an English artist, she specializes in seascapes, to be more precise, on the Okan waves. Her paintings are very realistic and unusual in their technique.

To achieve a realistic and transparent sea wave, Lia Melia does not create her works on canvas, but on a sheet of aluminum or glass surface.

To begin with, a colorful pigment is applied, and Lia uses a variety of wave shades in her works, from gently blue to bright red.

Once the painting has been painted, it is placed in the oven to bake the paint, and the work can be quite multi-layered, which allows the paint to transmit light rays, creating the impression of waves penetrating the light, creating a transparency of the wave itself and spray.
