Isaac Maimon is a contemporary Israeli artist with French roots.
He was born in 1951 in Israel. From his earliest childhood, he demonstrated his artistic abilities, which were enthusiastically received and supported by his family. After serving in the armed forces, he graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts in Tel Aviv… In 1980, he began teaching at the School of Visual Arts in Be’er Sheva and the Academy of Arts and became a professor at Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva. In his work, he was captured by the “culture of the boulevard” – the unique French atmosphere that intrigued Lautrec, the Boulevard and other artists… His works are now in private and public collections and can be seen in exhibitions and galleries around the world.
