Italians have strong traditions in making amazing foods, and pastry chef Matteo Stucchi is playing his part to keep the Italian kitchen on top. He’s doing it by creating intricate desserts that look just like miniature worlds frozen in time.

Monza-based chef fills his delicacies with little figurines and turns them into edible scenarios. From construction sites to full-blown neighborhoods which seem to be teeming with life.

A dessert’s looks is just as important as its taste,” says Matteo and 35,000 followers on Instagram couldn’t agree more.
