The Motion Picture Association of America is proud to host the fourth annualFilms at the Stone series alongside The Memorial Foundation Inc., screened at the MLK Memorial on the National Mall. The selection of inspiring movies celebrates the values most cherished by Martin Luther King, Jr. – democracy, justice, hope and love.

Race will be featured in an upcoming screening, a dramatic telling of Jesse Owens’ struggles and successes on his journey to become one of the greatest Olympians of all time. The next film, Fly By Light, documents a group of teenagers from Washington, D.C., who embark on an “education peace program.”

The event is presented as part of the MPAA Diversity and Multicultural Outreach program that includes outreach, collaboration, and partnerships with more than 20 national civil rights organizations and multicultural groups. The MPAA is proud to have this opportunity to support diversity in films.
