Japanese artist Nobuhiro Nakanishi creates sculptural works that try to keep a novel moment inside the herbal phrase, taking pictures deeply pigmented sunsets and brightly-lit forests in a sequence he’s titled Layer Drawings. To produce the 3-dimensional installations, Nakanishi first pix surroundings over a time frame. He then mounts decided on snapshots from his documentation on panels of acrylic in chronological order, permitting mild version from the body to the border.
“We’re all situation to the passing of time, yet each of us feels and perceives it in our personal way,” says Nakaniski, “Time itself has no shape or boundary and cannot be fixed or grasped. while we look at the pics in those sculptures, we try to fill within the gaps among the man or woman pix. We draw from our bodily studies to fill in lacking time and area, each ephemeral and indistinct. in this collection, I attempt to depict time and area as sensations shared by using each viewer and artist.”
