The artist Andrey Allakhverdov for four years created a series of works, which has not yet existed in the history of world painting. “The Artist and his model” is a tribute to the memory of the great painters. The series is dedicated to the artists who left a mark in art, and their models – muses, wives … Now the series contains 50 works. “You have made the world more beautiful, thank you,” the artist says to the great masters. You can watch a movie about this series below.
Having left for America, Andrey Allakhverdov missed his friends and at first planned to go back to Moscow. But then he found inspiration in this new world for the next stage in his work. Read more about it in our interview with the artist.
