Stephen Knapp for more than 30 years working in the field of art, and he is known more as the creator of light paintings. To compose a set of colors into a single composition, the master needs a minimum number of tools. Stephen Knapp’s light paintings are never prepared with preliminary sketches or computer programs, but are created directly during the installation process. His career began as a photographer. Exploring new forms of creativity, he moved on to creating installations that responded to changing lighting conditions. This was followed by the manufacture of various sculptures of glass and steel, which led him to unusual light paintings. Formed at the intersection of painting, sculpture and architecture, the compositions of Stephen Knapp represent intangible and multidimensional works of art.
