Wind Energy In Animal Sculptures From Sung Hoon Kang

South Korean sculptor Sung Hoon Kang creates stunning animal sculptures from metal, giving them a dynamic form that demonstrates the energy of the wind.

Despite the fact that the figures themselves are static, each part of the sculpture seems to come to life at a time when the lines are turning into muscles and moving chaotically, like the wind. The creation of each individual project takes a considerable amount of time for a South Korean, since “animals” consist of a large number of bands. Each strip requires reliable welding, as well as changes in its thickness or length. The structure of each sculpture contains so much dynamism that completely neutralizes their physical static.

  • Beautiful sculptures. The fluid style is unique. They have a pencil-sketched appearance.
