A documentary is currently being produced about Romero Britto, the pop art sensation who is recognized as “the most collected and licensed artist in history

Muse Storytelling is making a documentary about Romero Britto, one of the most popular artists in the world who is also the founder of the Happy Art movement.

Patrick Moreau directs The Britto Doc, which explores the creative power of a pop art artist who rose from poverty in Brazil to incredible heights as the creator of an iconic visual style that has been embraced around the world.

Romero Britto is considered the most collected and licensed artist in history, with signature designs that have appeared on everything from household items to clothing, cars, Disney characters, Barbie dolls, and even pet collars and dog bowls, according to the project post , in addition to his original fine art and sculpture.

The release notes that the film provides unprecedented access to the life and creative process of Romero Britto. The documentary will include interviews with operatic tenor and world-famous classical music sensation Andrea Bocelli with his wife Veronica Berti, famed fashion designer Domenico Dolce, Grammy winners and legendary musicians Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan, Grammy winner DJ Khaled and famed actor and former governor California Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as other famous figures in the art world and beyond.

The bright representative of pop art, Romero Britto has lived in South Florida for many years, and his work has become an integral part of the local landscape, adorning train stations, corporate offices and residences.

In a statement, the artist says that over the past forty years, he has been honored to bring joy to people through his work and images of pop art icons, royalty, world leaders and many incredible people. He also added that he was happy to share his story so people can find out what’s behind the bright colors and sparkles.
