The 20th anniversary of the tragic death of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace opened a memorial garden. He even has a name – the “White Garden”: it is inspired by the memories of the life of Diana, her style and manner, for example, her white dress Catherine Walker “Elvis”, and soon to be filled with white flowers and leaves.
Princess Diana lived in Kensington Palace for several years. Now it’s home to her two sons Prince Harry and Prince William, the wife of William Duchess of Cambridge and their children – Prince George and Princess Charlotte. “Kensington Palace for 15 years was the home of Princess Diana, says head gardener Sean Harkin. – Some of the gardeners remember Lady Di walked past the garden and stopped, admiring successive floral lawns. We change them in the spring and summer, and they always look completely different”.
White garden is open to the public. Many Princess associated with the Palace, and all who are in her grieving, flocked here after her death, to leave a lot of flowers in her memory. Recall that Diana died in a car crash in August 1997, when Prince William was 15 and Prince Harry 12 years.
