Architecture With The Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve

The reserve is situated in Southern Chile and started its life as a forestry company in 1898 from which a timber factory was constructed.  At the beginning of this century Huilo Huilo (a non profit organisation) set up 600 km2 (232 sq mi) of native forest dedicated to wildlife conservation and tourism.  The Montaña Mágica Lodge (Magic Mountain Lodge) which was the first of the eight individual hotels built in the Patagonian Rainforest.

The hotel comes with 12 rooms with en-suite and a restaurant, more images below with a video with more information.  This is a statement from the Huilo Huilo project “Our mission is to protect and preserve the Patagonian Temperate Rainforest, through the development of innovative and sustainable tourism.”
