In Pictures: The Best (and Most Creatively) Dressed Attendees at the Opening Day of Frieze London 2022

My favorite art world TikToker, Gstaad Guy, boldly declared from Regent’s Park this week, “I am not here to appreciate the art, I am here to .”

He certainly was not alone in that sentiment, as hordes of Frieze attendees showed up in some devastating outfits, bringing the city’s punk and posh crowds together.

Let’s go on a tour, shall we?

Mother and son duo Matty and Plum Bovan embrace maximalism.

A Canadian tuxedo, London-style! Worn excellently by Candida Gertler.

You’re no one in London if you don’t have a perfect top coat. Just ask these two, Joy Yamusangie and Ronan McKenzie.

The always stylish advisor Samantha Ozer pays homage to the late Issey Miyake in a well-executed power clash.

Pace Gallery’s Ariel Hudes called this her look. Note also her Jen Stark NFT watch.

Harry Nurev is chic from balaclava to trainers.

Svenja Katharina Frisch is the embodiment of London’s swinging ’60s in these glasses, if you ask me.

The kind of daring you only see on Anthr0morph and Kumbirai Makumbe.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some collector tried to buy this coat right off of Sigrun Davidsdottir’s back. That’s art!
