Royal Voluntary Service Platinum Champion Lord Brett McLean joined the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bexhill-on-Sea Cllr Memish Hussain and Pael Peters for a special Ukrainian fundraising concert held at Manor Barn in Bexhill old town.
The event held in the rose garden boasted a myriad of entertainment and performances from traditional Ukrainian dance groups and choirs to the internationally renowned Igor Grohotsky who won The Voice Ukraine.
The event was organised by Valeriya Dvornyk and supported by Sarah Gedge and a team of highly dedicated volunteers with the aim to raise much needed funds to be able to purchase urgent medical supplies for frontline military personnel and civilians caught in the Ukrainian conflict.

Lord Brett McLean said ” Audiences were delighted to watch and hear the performances of traditional Ukrainian musuc and more modern British easy listening which had been performed by the inspiring and totally amazing Igor Grohotsky.
Igor and his father Yakov Grohotsky along with other volunteers from Ukraine and the United Kingdom have travelled across the countries to deliver urgent medical supplies.
