Quinn Emanuel Expands Artist-In-Residence Program to Silicon Valley

LOS ANGELES – Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP announced today that it is expanding its Artist-in-Residence program to support two artists in its Silicon Valley office.  Quinn Emanuel launched its Artist-in-Residence program in 2021 in its Los Angeles office. The program has since grown to include the firm’s New York, London and now Silicon Valley offices. 

Understanding the power of art and artistic expression, the firm is committed to supporting local emerging and mid-career artists creating new work, and many of the pieces produced by its residents have become part of its permanent collection. Artists who lack access to studio space in Silicon Valley may apply for the residency on the Quinn Emanuel’s Artist-in-Residence website. For a period of four months, Quinn Emanuel will provide the Artists-in-Residence with studio space in its Redwood City offices, a $20,000 grant and $1,500 allowance for supplies. At the end of the four month residence, the artists’ work will be shown in a local exhibition.

Quinn Emanuel boasts the world’s pre-eminent art litigation practice and has handled many of the most significant art disputes in recent history, representing major museums, foundations, auction houses, galleries, collectors, and artists. This includes the recent landmark Robert Indiana litigation, which helped protect the integrity of the artist’s legacy and works. 

Quinn Emanuel’s current Artists-in-Residence are Rachel Emenaker and Tiago Da Cruz in Los Angeles and Lilia Kodunova and Chino Ridge in London.
