Spotlight: London’s Eden Gallery Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary Next Week With a Whirlwind of Special Events and Exhibitions

What You Need to Know: Eden Gallery was established in 1997 by Cathia Klimovsky, and in the two and half decades since its founding has expanded to become an international network of galleries—with locations from Aspen to Dubai—and recognized for exhibiting and promoting bold and unique contemporary art. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Eden Gallery will present “London Art Week” a special staging of exhibitions taking place on April 25 and 26, 2023, featuring an incredible range of dynamic artworks from a selection of six of the gallery’s leading artists. Held in Eden Gallery’s New Bond Street location, visitors will have the chance to not only view the gallery’s inimitable selection of artworks but meet the artists themselves, offering invaluable insight into both the work and the artist’s creative process—a rare opportunity for art collectors and enthusiasts alike. “‘London Art Week’ promises to be a celebration of creativity and artistic expression, featuring some of the most creative and exciting minds in the world,” said Klimovsky. “We are excited to host this incredible event and showcase the diversity and creativity of contemporary art.”

Why We Like It: Over the two days of exhibitions, visitors can explore and discover vivid and thought-provoking art by a diverse selection of international artists. The opening day presentation, “Between the Strokes,” juxtaposes street art-inspired work by the artist Jisbar with text-based compositions by the artist known simply as Joseph, as well as Daniel Gastaud’s paintings, which synthesize elements of Pop art and conceptual art. The following presentation, “Imaginative Forms,” offers a closer look at a range of contemporary sculpture—from whimsical, colorful word forms to works centered on themes of urban luxury and nostalgic sculptures inspired by the proverbial inner child. Eden Gallery has garnered a reputation for its carefully curated and lively exhibitions, as well as a roster of exciting contemporary artists, and the presentations that comprise the gallery’s London Art Week are illustrative of this standing. Whether a returning visitor to Eden Gallery or a newcomer hoping to to explore and learn more about Eden’s top artists, these two days are not to be missed.
