Welcome to the Art Angle, a podcast from Artnet News that delves into the places where the art world meets the real world, bringing each week’s biggest story down to earth. Join us every week for an in-depth look at what matters most in museums, the art market, and much more, with input from our own writers and editors, as well as artists, curators, and other top experts in the field.
Well, the end of the year is upon us, and it is also the end of an era here at Artnet News.
Our fearless executive editor, Julia Halperin, is leaving her post and is on to bigger and better things, and hopefully, on to relax a little because on top of being one of the sharpest art journalists around, she’s also one of the hardest working editors.
We’re not gonna get all maudlin here, so as a sendoff for Julia, we thought we’d end the year, as we usually do, with something lighthearted. Enter the Artnet News year end quiz!
Given the fact that no one has spent more time editing news digests early in the morning, editing art news through the day, and researching the art market late into the evening, Julia is our perfect contestant, and we hope you at home, our Artnet News super-fans, play along as well.
Happy New Year, we’ll see you in 2023.
