The Bronx Museum of the Arts has announced the appointment of Klaudio Rodriguez as its new deputy director, a position that will entail both managing staff as well as working on the development of exhibitions and public programming.
Rodriguez most recently served as a curator at the Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami. Together with the director and development officer of the museum, Rodriguez spent his tenure helping to grow membership, improve revenue streams through fundraising and recruitment of donors, as well as coordinating an exhibition program that included a recent show of work by Cuban American fashion designer, Narciso Rodriguez.
“I am thrilled that Klaudio is joining the Bronx Museum as Deputy Director,” the Bronx Museum’s executive director, Holly Block, said in a statement. “The experience and expertise he brings will result in thought-provoking exhibitions and programs of local, national, and international significance, as well as new ways to more deeply engage with our community.”
