Toronto artist Gregory Wilde Makes Debut with a Dazzling watercolor print ‘Dear Claude.’ Inspired by the Masters of Impressionism and Post Impressionism

Toronto-based artist Gregory Wilde, a former corporate business executive, has recently unveiled his debut watercolor print titled “Dear Claude.” The artwork is a heartfelt homage to the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masters, including iconic artists such as Monet and Van Gogh.

Through his art, Wilde has endeavored to capture the vivid and energetic spirit of modern-day Paris in the springtime. The print is bursting with vibrant colors that beautifully convey the essence of the city’s lively atmosphere at this time of year.

“SUN”S KISS”

Wilde’s passion for art was first ignited in the 1980s while traveling on business when he had an opportunity to view the Courtauld Gallery collection on loan from the UK at The Art Institute of Chicago. He was immediately captivated by the beauty, color, and texture of fine art. For decades, he began a search for the perfect water lily pond as an admirer of Monet.. and eventually discovered it in the Canadian wilderness. He transformed his resulting original photograph into a vibrant watercolor print that embodies Wilde’s artistic vision. This unique piece is now available in a limited edition of 250 copies.
