Untitled Art, Houston Expands to 95 Galleries for Second Edition
Untitled Art, Houston will return October 2–4, with a preview day on October 1, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston. The fair’s second edition will bring together 95 galleries, an increase of 11 from its 2025 debut, and signals a broader push to deepen the city’s place on the contemporary art map.
Among the first-time participants are Anton Kern Gallery, Nara Roesler, Night Gallery, Richard Saltoun Gallery, and kaufmann repetto. The roster also includes returning exhibitors such as Sicardi | Ayers | Bacino, Luis De Jesus Los Angeles, Charlie James, La Loma, Half Gallery, Nino Mier Gallery, Patel Brown, Hair+Nails, Library Street Collective, and Tern Gallery.
The fair will feature 16 Texas-based exhibitors, with half of them placed in the Nest section, which offers reduced prices for exhibitors. That structure gives the event a local dimension that extends beyond Houston’s established galleries and into a wider ecosystem of emerging and mid-career participants.
Fair director Michael Slenske said the response to the second edition has been “incredibly encouraging,” adding that exhibitors come from five continents and that the fair has strengthened partnerships with about 30 Houston cultural institutions. He described the project as one developed “in close dialogue with the local arts community from the very beginning,” while noting its commitment to creating opportunities for galleries at every stage.
The expansion matters not only because the fair is larger, but because it is being built with Houston rather than simply placed in Houston. In a market where many fairs compete for the same attention, that distinction can shape both the visitor experience and the city’s long-term cultural profile.
