Vacheron Constantin booth at SIHH 2017 by ateliergh, Geneva – Switzerland

As part of the 27th International Fine Watchmaking Exhibition (SIHH), which brings in Geneva the leading watch brands, Vacheron Constantin once again trusts the ateliergh for the staging of its booth. An immersive and interactive journey in the heart of astronomy and striking watches invites visitors to discover the new collections of the brand.

Celestial mechanics: metaphor of a sidereal time, the wall parabolas turn in a ballet of hypnotic rotations. Four stars symbolizing solar, lunar, terresrial and sidereal atmosphere, whose design is reminiscent of watchmaking mechanics.

Striking watches: in this part of the exhibition, Vacheron Constantin introduces us to the art of listening to time. The counting of the hours, quarter-hours and minutes is illustrated on the walls: the sound vibrations are illustrated by the convolutions of the graphic symbols. The rhythm of time becomes tangible. Just touch a sensor to listen and watch the time dance.

Instant of synchronicity: in the seconds preceding the exact time, the parabolas synchronize their rotations by emitting a harmonic sound. Then they stop at 00:00 revealing reconstructed fragments of the beauty of our world: photographic textures of ephemeral terrestrial landscapes created by celestial phenomena. At this moment, the Cabinotiers Symphonia Grande Sonnerie 1860 rings the exact time as a carillon. Once the hour has struck, the parables resume their rotation until the next hour.
