French artist Vincent Leroy built the space nebula on the Seine quay in Paris, consisting of thousands of pipes for scaffolding.
The imposing installation contrasts with the surrounding cityscape. The artist explains that he saw in a cluster of scaffolding transparency, the visual lightness that is so different from the strength and rigidity of the material itself. The visual effect enhances the luster of galvanized steel.
“It’s a mixed balance between triangular and square forms,” says Vincent Leroy. – Despite its enormous size, the project has a significant advantage: it can be recycled endlessly, easily stored, and transported. Its creator can adapt it to different places”. Among the artist’s plans is an installation through which people can pass.
