Art fairs are all about presenting beautiful things and beautiful people—which is why such events are perfect places for the “language of love” to develop. It is no surprise, then, that the US video dating app Filteroff hosted an online speed-dating event in June for attendees of the Masterpiece art fair in London, aiming to bring together art buffs.
But how does it work? “You RSVP for a virtual speed-dating event on the Filteroff app. You’re then scheduled dates based on your preferences,” explains the app’s co-founder and chief executive Zach Schleien. Singletons then have three minutes to video date, seeing if they hit it off. “With Filteroff, it’s all about meeting like-minded singles,” Schleien says.
