Luna by Elizaveta Porodina

Prominent fashion photographer Elizaveta Porodina was commissioned by Numero magazine to shot the rising star of Kyiv electronic-pop music LUNA.

In her experimental fashion and fine art, Elizaveta Porodina travels through time and space, extracting the underlying emotions in her entrancing productions. The Moscow born is a clinical psychologist who plays with melancholic symbolism, sets connotations, sometimes ambiguous, sometimes honest and obvious. Whether in dramatic black and white or vividly colored artworks, the Munich based photographer is a master of dark romanticism.

Entirely self-taught, her work is cinematic, she captures something very human, reestablishing fashion photography as a platform for both artistic expression and anthropological query.

Before working for the likes of Philip Plein and Louis Vuitton, Elizaveta was a clinical psychologist treating patients in psychiatry. Her photographic aesthetic is modern, experimental and inspired from Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon and Irving Penn.

Her Instagram feed is beautiful too, follow her @elizavetaporodina_official and see the rest of her work on her website.
