My pictures are a reflection of ourselves. Joe Coffey

Joe Coffey – an Canadian artist. He was born in 1966 in the city of Caledon East, Ontario. For more than 20 years, which this self-taught artist dedicated to painting, he, according to Joe Coffey himself, “was really happy when he was left alone to pick up a brush and paint.”

Coffey was born and raised in a rural community, surrounded by objects that he tries to reproduce in his work today. Whether it’s a sheep, a horse or a person, Joe seeks to reflect in his work “the common state of solitude for all of us, through which we all passed or must pass.” My pictures are a reflection of ourselves, not of any particular topic. ”
